In a nutshell, plastic bags + sand + fire + pressing = paving stones for improving urban neighborhoods. This looks like a great project, and after a successful introduction in Mopti it is apparently to be adopted in other Malian towns. My only concern is that demand for plastic waste can't be sustained indefinitely, and people will have to figure out a new solution once the market is saturated with paving stones.
